With the official launch of my first novel only weeks away, I’ve had to neglect writing for the sake of a million technical tasks related to publishing a book, and it has confirmed my suspicions of the past years: The actual task of creative writing is when I’m the happiest, and the rest is what I do so I can get back to it.
